Mr. Tutin began his educational career teaching 8th grade social studies at Bon Air Middle School in 2000. After four years in the Kokomo Consolidated School Corporation, he took a position teaching 8th grade social studies in Brownsburg. Mr.Tutin came to Eastwood in the summer of 2008 as Social Studies Department Chair. After six years in the classroom, Mr. Tutin accepted the position of Assistant Principal and Athletic Director. And in 2020, he became the Principal at Eastwood Middle School.
Over the course of his educational journey, Mr. Tutin has had the opportunity to collaborate and partner with students, families, and staff to strengthen the educational experience of the students he serves. Grounded in the belief that all students can learn at high levels, Mr. Tutin remains committed to the students he serves.
Mr. Tutin received his Bachelor’s of Arts degree in secondary education from Purdue University with a focus on social studies instruction (Boiler Up!). From there he graduated with his Master’s Degree in school administration from Ball State University.
